T.P. Caldwell is a writer, editor, and photographer/videographer who began his career as an apprentice printer at a weekly community newspaper. During his career as a journalist for daily and weekly publications, he gained experience in all aspects of newspaper production, including working as a reporter, editor, publisher, and weekly newspaper owner.

He formed the nonprofit Liberty Independent Media Project to produce video programming and documentaries with a focus on the arts, history, and culture, and a special emphasis on people thriving after overcoming adversity. The Liberty Project also produces print and web versions of the stories.

He operates Liberty Media as a professional freelance writing, editing, and research enterprise, also offering photography, videography, web design and maintenance, and consulting services.

Having majored in Literature & Creative Writing at Dartmouth College, where he studied under A.B. Paulson and visiting author José Donoso, he later was a member of the New Hampton Writer’s Group and continues to maintain an interest in writing in all its forms.

Other interests include hiking, kayaking, traveling, and sharing stories with people of all backgrounds. The ability to “sample” lives through his interviews and stories has proven to be the greatest attraction in his chosen career.
